about Edo creative hub

With the creative industry being a significant player in Nigeria’s economy and a huge contributor to the nation’s GDP next to oil and agriculture, the Edo State Government sought to provide a world class platform, learning facility and job centre where individuals from all sectors of the creative industry can connect, learn, practice, produce content and showcase their talents to the world.

This vision to provide opportunities to creatives resident in Edo State, in November 2021, gave birth to the Edo Creative Department, under which it setup the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub. A facility that supports the growth of the creative industry in Edo State by providing a place for creatives to showcase their talents and build valuable connections.
