From January 15th to 26th, 97 accredited participants had the opportunity to engage with seven esteemed facilitators at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub. In collaboration with JOC Standard Creation and the Edo Creative Hub, this training program epitomized a concerted effort to elevate the standard of screenwriting in Edo state.

This initiative, led by the AGN and backed by its chairman, who also actively contributed as a facilitator, underscored a collective vision to harness the full creative potential of the region. The overarching goal of the training was to equip local talent with the skills and expertise necessary to produce content that can confidently stand on the global stage. By setting a high standard for screenwriting, the AGN Edo chapter aims to position Edo State as a competitive contributor to the international film industry. The organization hopes to host training programs at least once in every quarter of the year.
